FETISH 4 LIFE!
FETISH- AN ABNORMALLY OBSESSIVE PREOCCUPATION, AN ATTACHMENT or FIXATION.
Fetish 4 Life was established in 1988, to create an alternative retail experience for people who were looking for fashion that was unique and a little bit quirky.
There have been a few changeovers with the owners of Fetish 4 Life over the years, each adding their own input and style into the shop, yet always striving to maintain that interesting edge that Fetish 4 life is well known for.
Graften Street Shop
My partner Ben and I have been involved with Fetish since 2002. Prior to that we had a shop called FUBAR on Abbott st.
Fubar stocked the extreme two ends of the music world. Ben ran the Heavy, black, death metal music and paraphernalia and Mikaila ran the rave dance wear section. Most weekends during that time were spent at Dance parties having bright stalls selling glow products.
In 2002 there was an opportunity to takeover fetish 4 life, we purchased the shop and ran Fubar and Fetish 4 Life until we eventually fused them into one shop.
Fetish 4 Life is a unique fusion of fashion
Fetish 4 Life has an interesting collection of Men and women’s clothing including street wear, party wear and one off pieces from local designers and from around Australia.
Making a dynamic feature on the shelves are boots and shoes of all colours styles and sizes. Qaulity Australian made leather sandals are also on display with unique designs.
There is a huge array of bags with attachments such as feathers, studs, trinkets, safety pins and whatever else can be fixed to a bag. As well as wallets, purses, socks, stockings, fingerless gloves, tins, jewellery, belts, and body jewellery, plus lots more accessories.
For the firebugs, there is a diverse range of quality fire equipment from beginners to advance. There are twirling & poi books, DVDs, glow products, devil sticks and hacky sacks.

We support other local business and community organizations by providing a poster wall and a coffee table for their business cards and flyers. There is always information on entertainment such as plays, bands, clubs, parties, and outdoor festivals. If your feeling energetic there are flyers for lessons such as belly dancing, pole dancing, hula hoop lessons, fire twirling lessons, drumming, healing, readings, massage and relaxation. We sell tickets to events and always have flyers on offer.
